Trainwreck are an American rock band, formed in Los Angeles in 2002. The group features JR Reed on lead vocals, Kyle Gass on acoustic guitar, John Konesky on electric guitar and John Spiker on bass. The band's line-up originally featured Kevin Weisman on drums and Chris D'Arienzo on the keyboards up until 2005. Nate Rothacker became the second drummer for Trainwreck in 2005. The band released one studio album, one live album, an EP and two singles before splitting up in 2010. They would reform in 2018, and annnoince their second studio album "Do You Wanna Get Wrecked?" for release in 2022.
In February 2004, Epic Records released "Trainwreck Live" via their ShopBootlegs.com website, and would release the three-song single "Trainwreck" via ShopBootlegs.com as well as part of a bundle package to promote 'Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny' - as some Trainwreck songs had made it into the film's soundtrack.
